Romans 8:28-29
“We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to
His purpose.  For whom He did foreknow He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of
His Son…..”

The plan is a perfect one.  God is, and was, and will be.  God will have His way in spite of as many screw ups
as we can produce, willingly or not.  We love to bring up God’s knowing us even before we made our way out
of the womb, and particularly like to quote that God even knows the exact number of hairs on our heads.  He
does of course, but when it gets to doing our part in bringing others into the fold we unleash our evasive
maneuvers.  Maybe we tell ourselves we’re better at intercessory prayer so we’ll leave the soul winning to
someone more inclined or talented.

One way or another, God will make a path for us and there comes a point where we need to be obedient.
Our opportunity to witness may appear to be happenstance, but is nevertheless valid, for God has grown
quite accustomed to our pathetic attempts and will bless us in spite of ourselves.  Although they might appear
to be anything but, there are people all around us just as redeemed by Jesus’ blood as we are.  They just
don’t know it yet and neither do we, so there’s no need to withhold the greatest information which could ever
be shared with them; the one brief life saving conversation which can alter them forever.  Someone told you,
so you need to share it with someone too.

God predetermined each and every sheep which would be in the fold, and this as a result of an all
consuming love, and even better – an everlasting one.  His sheep were on His mind while He was still
creating forms from the endless nothingness.  God will have every last one whom He has chosen whether
you or I do our part, but why miss out on such a life changing experience?  It gets relived inside of you over
and over the rest of your life.  Doubtlessly the next one too.  They’re already predestined, so you’re just
being an available tool for God to use to complete the deed.  It’s a foregone conclusion waiting for you to set
it in motion and be blessed with the thrill of it all.
