"There will be a highway, called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it; it will be for God's people exclusively.
Whosoever walks the road, even if a fool, shall not get lost."
(Isaiah 35:8)

Don't be discouraged.  The gentle hand of your heavenly parent is upon you.  You are walking on a road
with a destiny.  It's a road which has been traveled before.  Ancient saints, famous and unknown, have
walked this road.  It's the high road.  Tamar, Naomi, and Rizpah walked it.  Abraham, Joshua,
and David walked it.  It's the road which leads to salvation.  We're told that it's narrow, and it may well be, but
for those who are headed toward their new land, it's wide enough.

Jesus said
"I am the way, the truth, and the life."  He showed us how to walk the road, how to conduct our
lives in peace and love, how to represent Him with integrity, how to overcome.  In Him our lives take on a new
direction.  We sense a new value system.

There isn't a day that goes by in which our Christian faith is not challenged in some way.  The mindset
of others is often contrary to what we inherently know to be the way of God.  We constantly have to rethink,
regroup, and we silently pray for guidance in our private thoughts.

What a wonderful privilege it is to have access to the true source.  In Jesus our Savior we find wisdom,
encouragement, and an empowerment such as the world will never know.

The apostle Paul is an outstanding example of one who followed in the footsteps of Jesus.  He walked the
road, as he said,
"with fear and trembling."   This wasn't meant in negative way, but was meant
to denote a sense of honor.  Lesser known New Testament saints' lives were likewise changed as they
walked the highway; saints such as Joanna, Mnason, Phoebe, and Onessimus.  They may not have been the
headline grabbers, but they are the among the ones our heavenly parent knows very well.  Most assuredly
Jesus personally welcomed them into the dominion of heaven.  They rejoiced as they walked the Highway of
Holiness right through the golden gates and into the haven of rest.
All saints will one day know that relief, that reward.

Keep walking God's highway. It will be worth it all.  The heavenly gates are just ahead.
