Biblical records reveal people who were used in a mighty way by God.  Examples from the Old Testament
include Moses, Deborah, and Joshua.  From the New Testament, Paul, Peter, and John.  More recently, we
have last century's Dwight L Moody and Charles Spurgeon.  And currently, Kathryn Kuhlman, Oral Roberts,
Billy Graham, and Robert Schuller.  There are many more examples, as you know.

What was special about these people?  Answer: nothing.  They wanted, more than anything else,
to be used as God's vessels.  That's it, plain and simple.

They all had, or have, a relationship with exactly the same God as we have. They were, or are, ordinary
people with access to the same power from on high.  God loves us every bit as much as any of them.

To be used by God, all we have to do is want it.  Want it more than anything else on this earth.

"Draw near to God, and God will draw near to you."
(James 4:8)

"God gives power to the faint, and to those who have no might, God increases their strength…..
for they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings as eagles,
they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
(Isaiah 40: 29,31)
