“These trials are only to test our faith, to show that our faith is strong and pure.”
(I Peter 1:7)

No sunset is as spectacular as the one after a storm.  No canary sings so perfectly as the one which has
chosen contentment within its cage.  No water satisfies more than the first cupful at a desert oasis.  And no
flower compares in brilliance than the crocus which shoots up through a light covering of snow in the early
Springtime.  And so it is with our faith, for it is tested through the challenges of time and forever reigns in
spite of dark experiences.  For no faith will triumph more victoriously than that which has been tried by the
fires of adversity.

And there’s no one on Earth who hasn’t been tested, some more than others and in more ways,
but faith develops in confidence and intensity the more it is engaged in warfare whether physical or spiritual.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed.  His compassions never fail, they are new every
morning.  Great is God’s faithfulness.”
(Lamentations 3:22-24)  Success as a Christian is reflected by a holy
confidence.  We wear His name with honor because it’s His strength upon which we stand.  And with that
comes the courage to move mountains making possible the impossible.

Lamentations 5:21:
“Restore us to Yourself O Lord, that we may renew our faith
as in the days as of old.”
